We are building our plan for Ventura College students will be visiting Loreto for their Spring Break in 2026 to work with Eco Allianza!

The Ventura Sister City organzation plans an annual trip to Loreto in late February/early March to see the whales that migrate to the Loreto area.

Please reach out if you would be interested in joining us in 2026!

Participants will be responsible for the cost of airfare, hotel/lodging, meals, and trasportation to watch whales.

Opportunities to support Eco-Tourism in Loreto

  • Join the Ventura Sister City Association.

  • Visit Loreto with our group the end of February/ early March where will will connect with local guides and bring our own naturalist to make this a very memorable trip. (Check out the photo below)

  • Get involved with our planning and support to bring Ventura College biology students to Loreto to support habitat restoration of the chocolate clams and the sea turtles.
